About CCG
Commercial Construction Group is a general contractor headquartered in North Little Rock, Arkansas, with our own electrical, plumbing and HVAC divisions and projects in ten states and Puerto Rico.
Our story
CCG’s roots go back to 2008, when Jerry Guzman co-founded American Structure Inc. The early work was foundation and crawl space repair, the parts of a building most people never see. Those jobs taught us to look closely and plan carefully, and that still shapes how we build.
In 2021, Jerry started American Structure Construction Solutions to take on full general contracting, and in 2023 it became Commercial Construction Group. We added our own electrical, plumbing and HVAC divisions so more of every project is built by people who answer to us. Today CCG builds and restores behavioral health facilities, retail centers, restaurants, apartments and public buildings from our office in North Little Rock.

From our home base in North Little Rock, CCG has built and restored projects from Connecticut to Arizona. We hold general contractor licenses in Arkansas, Connecticut and Tennessee.
What sets us apart
Plenty of contractors can build from a finished set of drawings. CCG is most useful earlier and when things go wrong: before you buy, while the design is still flexible, and after the storm.
Before you close on a building, we’ll walk it with you and tell you honestly whether it’s a smart buy or a money pit. We’ve evaluated properties for Haven Health Management ahead of their purchases, and for The Gardens of Brodie Creek.
Our in-house architectural designer works alongside our builders, so drawings, permitting and pricing move together instead of one after another.
We look for savings that don’t cost you quality. At Colony West, reusing undamaged scaffold already on site saved $18,000.
We mobilize the same day, after hours if needed. We did it after the 2023 tornado, and we still do it for owners with damaged buildings.
Our crews self-perform 13 trades, and our licensed divisions handle electrical, plumbing and HVAC. Fewer handoffs, one team accountable.

When we started American Structure in 2008, a lot of our work was below the floor: foundations and crawl spaces, the parts of a building most people never see. That work taught us to look closely, tell owners the truth about what they’re facing and stand behind what we build.
