Riviera Maya restaurant at Creek Plaza on Bass Pro Parkway in Little Rock

Restaurant Tenant Build-Out

Riviera MayaCreek Plaza

About the project

An empty shell at Creek Plaza became a fully operational restaurant, built out from bare concrete.

CCG built out a 3,475 SF Riviera Maya on Bass Pro Parkway, from a 2-hour fire-rated demising wall to a full commercial kitchen, bar, and dining room.
This Riviera Maya location started as an open tenant space in an existing shopping center shell at Creek Plaza on Bass Pro Parkway.

Nothing inside was built out. HVAC, plumbing, and electrical all had to be installed from scratch, and code called for a 2-hour fire-rated demising wall separating the restaurant from the neighboring space.

CCG managed the full build-out, framing nine distinct areas, from the dining room and bar to the kitchen, prep, cooler, and storage, while coordinating three MEP subcontractors working at the same time. The team built the demising wall 18 feet to the metal roof deck with double-layer Type X drywall and sound attenuation insulation, then fire-sealed it at the top. HVAC, plumbing, and electrical were installed and commissioned before turnover.

Finishes include polished concrete in the dining room, floor-to-ceiling subway tile in both restrooms, and FRP-clad kitchen and prep walls. The space went from bare concrete to a code-compliant, fully operational restaurant.

Where It Started

Bare concrete, open bar joists, and no interior walls. The storefront glass was in, but everything behind it, from the kitchen to the restrooms, had to be built.
